As part of the process of invigorating the role of the Federation of the Universities of the Islamic World (FUIW) in such a way as to boost cooperation and partnership between member universities, and in order to sustain support to developed member universities, you are kindly requested to provide the FUIW General Secretariat with the following information :

1. First class international prizes/awards obtained last year by the university (administration, colleges, teaching staff).
2. Accreditation (local, regional, international) of the university (colleges – programmes).
3. International ranking of the university, if any, according to one of the world’s reliable ranking systems.

The member universities are kindly requested to send :

1. Contact details of the University President (mail, email, office phone, mobile phone, and fax).
2. Updates of the activities scheduled for implementation in 2013 across the region and beyond, along with the names of the cooperating parties, in order to provide technical support and allow for effective participation of the member universities.
3. Updates of exchange programmes for curricula, teaching staff, students, scholarships and missions.
4. Contact details of the Centre for Academic Development, Scientific Research and University Services, along with the academic authority responsible for the Centre.
5. Contact details of the Centre for Quality and Accreditation, along with the academic authority responsible for it.
6. Updates of university services to ensure that our member universities’ services are at par with the international standard.
